Scientists have successfully invented a prosthetic hand with a sense of touch. Dennis Sorensen was the first person to try out this invention. After losing his left hand in an accident, he had been using a standard prosthetic hand for nine years. The new hand was developed by Swiss and Italian scientists. With it, Sorensen could not only pick up and manipulate objects, but he could also feel them. He was only allowed to wear it for a month, for safety reasons.
