Parallel admission is not a paid “accept me” button. Its requirements, fees, and capacity follow the university and current policy, so do not carry a 2025/2026 number or seat percentage into 2026/2027 automatically.

Using a different cohort’s rules

Rules differ by cohort: cohort 2008 is the historical six-field model, while cohort 2009 studies four Grade 12 fields in 2026/27 and cohort 2010 follows the four-field framework with a different G11 ministerial block. Do not copy a field/eligibility table from another cohort, and do not rely on a friend’s table or an older article.

Turning a historical cutoff into a guarantee

Previous competitive thresholds describe previous years. Use them to understand competition, not to turn 88, 92, or any historical figure into a promise for the current year.
