Separate average from preference order

In unified admission, the average is a primary selection factor, while preference order tells the system which option you prefer when your average and the cycle rules make more than one option available. Listing a major first does not let a lower-average applicant outrank a higher-average applicant merely because of preference order.

Rank by what you genuinely want

Rank the list by genuine preference rather than fear of a reach option. Use historical thresholds only to understand competition, then verify current-cycle requirements before finalizing the list.

Verify every choice before submitting

Before finalizing, verify the major and university, certificate/stream requirements, and any special current-cycle condition. Do not copy another student’s preference list.
