Tawjihi has four fields for cohorts 2009 and 2010: Health Field, Science, Technology and Engineering, Humanities and Social Sciences, and Business Field. Each field has 3 fixed subjects plus one elective from the field's list; Advanced English is fixed in all four; and the four field subjects make up 70% of the average. The previous six fields were for cohort 2008. The Ministry announced four fields for cohorts 2009 and 2010, but the amended instructions are not in the Official Gazette yet (last checked: 2026-09-17). How much do the field subjects count in the average?

The four field subjects are the Grade 12 mark: 70% of the average, and the other 30% comes from the Grade 11 ministerial exams. For cohort 2008 each subject was out of 175 (total 700). The marks per subject for cohort 2009 are not officially published yet, so check moe.gov.jo. Cohort 2009 sits Grade 12 in 2027.
