How does the Reverse GPA Calculator work?
The calculator takes your 11th grade marks and target admission rate, then computes the required 12th grade average and per-subject targets to reach your goal.
Are the results accurate?
The calculation uses the 30% Grade 11 + 70% Grade 12 planning model. Per-subject targets assume an even distribution and are not official requirements; always verify school or ministry instructions.
What if the required average is impossible?
If the required 12th grade average exceeds 100%, a message will explain the goal is mathematically impossible. Try a lower target.
Can I choose a major instead of entering a GPA?
Cohort 2008 can pick a major under the 2026/2027 admission policy and the published cutoffs. For cohorts 2009 and 2010, enter a target GPA manually: the four-field model is reported in the news only, and no admission policy maps it to majors yet, so it does not establish university-major eligibility.
Does the calculator work with the old system?
The reverse calculator supports Jordan 30/70 planning: cohort 2008 has six fields, while cohorts 2009 and 2010 have four according to news reports (not officially confirmed). English is in the Grade 11 ministerial block for 2008/2009; Math replaces it for 2010 while English remains studied. The tool does not offer a Palestine reverse calculation.
What's the difference between "Hard", "Possible", and "Comfortable"?
"Comfortable" means required average is below 80%. "Possible" means 80-95%. "Hard" means above 95%. "Impossible" means above 100%.
