If Your Result Came Lower Than Expected
Your result is a junction on your path, not a final verdict on your worth or future.
First: breathe
Take a breath. Feeling disappointed or shocked is completely normal and does not mean you have failed as a person. Give yourself time before any decision.
Your result is not you
A single number does not summarise years of effort or define everything you are capable of. Many successful paths started from an unexpected result.
You still have options
You still have real options: the supplementary session if it applies to you, the parallel program, and majors your average can reach that you may not have considered. Calculate your GPA and explore what is actually available instead of guessing.
Don’t decide alone, or right now
Talk to someone you trust before deciding, and don’t make a life decision at the peak of emotion. A good decision needs a slightly calmer mind.
