Terms of service: using the platform

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using TawjihiAI ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

TawjihiAI is a Tawjihi study platform for Jordan and Palestine (Grades 11-12). The Service provides:

• Zaki study guide for Tawjihi subjects (curriculum-grounded explanations)
• Structured curriculum aligned with Tawjihi syllabus
• Adaptive study plans based on exam dates
• Interactive learning tools including quizzes and flashcards
• Subject study support woven through the platform

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain and update your account information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or related systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without permission
• Share your account credentials with others or allow others to use your account
• Use the Service to transmit harmful code, viruses, or malicious software

5. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by TawjihiAI and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

6. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you create or upload to the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a license to use, store, and process your content to provide and improve the Service.

7. Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or unforeseen circumstances.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

While we strive to provide accurate educational content, we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any information provided through the Service.

TawjihiAI is a supporting e-learning platform for Tawjihi syllabus review and exam practice—not a private school, not a replacement for formal schooling, not an exam retake (supplementary round) service, and not a Ministry of Education partner unless stated in a formal written agreement. For final dates, fees, rules, and procedures, always confirm on your country’s ministry website (e.g. moe.gov.jo for Jordan).

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TAWJIHIAI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

11. Billing and Subscriptions

TawjihiAI currently offers a paid Pro subscription. Legacy Plus subscriptions may remain active for existing accounts. When you subscribe, you are charged the price shown at checkout for the billing period you select, and premium features are unlocked immediately. Card payments are handled by our third-party payment provider; a subscription on an auto-renewing period renews at the end of each term until you cancel, while CliQ and other manual transfers are one-time and do not renew automatically. Applicable prices and available billing periods are displayed at checkout.

If you subscribe through the iOS or iPad app, Apple bills the in-app purchase to your Apple ID at confirmation. Before you confirm, the app and the App Store show the subscription title, length, and price (and the price per unit if Apple displays it). The subscription auto-renews unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. iOS Pro terms currently offered are Monthly, 2 Months, and Annual.

App Store prices are the Apple storefront prices for your country, not the web JOD amounts shown on /pricing. Do not purchase a web plan on top of an App Store subscription; that can charge you twice.

In-app purchases on iOS are also subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement at https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/. These Terms and our Privacy Policy at https://tawjihiai.com/privacy also apply.

12. Refunds

Web and CliQ purchases: because access is granted immediately, you may request a full refund within 7 days of a web card or CliQ purchase, provided you have not materially used paid features. After 7 days, or once paid features have been materially used, those web purchases are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. Email support@tawjihiai.com with your account email and the date of payment; approved web refunds return to the original payment method within a reasonable number of business days.

App Store and Google Play purchases: Apple or Google bills those charges. Only Apple or Google can refund them. TawjihiAI cannot refund an in-app purchase. Use Apple's or Google's official refund process.

13. Cancellation

Web auto-renewing subscriptions: cancel from your account settings or by contacting support. Cancellation stops future renewals, and you keep paid access until the end of the current paid period. Cancellation does not by itself trigger a refund — refunds follow the Refunds section above.

If you subscribed on iOS, cancel in Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → TawjihiAI. Cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends to avoid the next Apple charge. We cannot cancel Apple subscriptions for you.

If you subscribed on Android, cancel in Google Play subscriptions. Web subscriptions are cancelled from your account settings as described above.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Jordan, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
